Why themindofjim.com?

Ideaphoria: an experience where one feels a constant onslaught of new ideas, creating a euphoric state of idea creation.

I  love ideas, especially other people’s ideas.  This blog is dedicated to the randomness of whatever ideas are currently running across my radar, probably generated by a book, a blog,  quote, a movie, or a conversation with my wife (read her blog www.amberthayes.com, it’s a lot better than mine).

Brief Bio

I look for ways to create, innovate, and streamline everything.  Working at Starbucks I developed an addiction to coffee and legendary customer service.  My time at a defense contractor (Raytheon) was spent designing, breaking and helping build killer software.  Right now I am the Operations Manager at 24HourFlex where I am in charge of the team who provides employee benefits (FSAs, HSAs, HRAs, and COBRA administration) to companies and their employees.

I’m a geek.  I love learning about everything tech, leadership, social media, customer service, business, Jesus, and anything else that challenges the way I think.  Helping people is central to what I do.  Colorado is home but my wife and I travel whenever we can (if you help us come up with an excuse to travel we’ll be there).

We didn’t know you had a blog! Nice! I told Jeremey you did and he said, I quote,”That outta be good!”, so he will have to check it out sometime. :) ~Ang
